The 26th of October 1931 marked the first flight of the de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth. To celebrate the 80th Anniversary a formation flight of four DH82A Tiger Moths took a short leisurley flip along the South East Coast of South Africa on 26 October 2011. The event was hosted by 43 Air School based at Port Alfred Airport. The four aircraft were:
